Bertrand Dumon has founded Dumon Partners in 2012
After having affiliated Dumon Partners in 2015 with one of the prominent Arabic law firms in the Middle East, Dumon Partner has regained its independence in 2020 and renders legal and corporate services out of Switzerland, France, Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates.
Prior to start Dumon Partners, Bertrand was international partner and head of Corporate Group of Watson, Farley and Williams LLP Paris office
Bertrand has been involved in numerous cross-border transactions such as acquisitions, joint-ventures, setting up of subsidiaries, financing and restructuring, where he advised international companies and investors
Bertrand has also developed recognized and prominent expertise in private equity transactions (LBOs, MBO, venture capital) and, more generally, corporate finance and financial engineering
His experience also includes securities and stock market regulations (assisting companies on various securities issues, Public offering and IPOs), and litigation in France. Bertrand advises companies and investment funds in particular in the renewable sector, energy, commodities trading, Food and Beverage as well as in the new media, information technology sectors
Bertrand actively practices in the Middle East, Africa, China, USA, Europe and Canada.
Prior to join Watson, Farley and Williams in January 2006, Bertrand was the Paris private equity team co-head with the NY firm Le Boeuf, Lamb, Greene and MacRae LLP.
Bertrand has a PhD in Contract Law from the University of Paris – Nanterre. He is member of the Paris Bar Association since 1998.
Bastien Moraga is a lawyer, specialized in corporate and business law, registered with the Paris Bar Association. Bastien Moraga is the co-founder of Dumon Partners’ Paris office. Bastien advises companies as well as entrepreneurs and managers.
After several years spent in Parisian law firms (French and UK law firms), Bastien acquired a strong expertise in company law and business law. He operates mainly in start-up setting up, fundraisings, roundtables, issuance of securities, management packages (free shares, stock-options, etc.). He also assists clients in their day-to-day business (drafting and negotiating of commercial contracts, follow-up of corporate bodies, etc.), in the establishment of alliance operations (creation of partnerships, joint-ventures), in growth transactions (acquisitions, mergers, equity investments) or divestment (sale of participation, subsidiaries, assets).
Bastien holds a Masters of Business Law of Poitiers University, a DJCE (diploma of higher studies in legal management of business corporations) with a specialization in corporate law from Montpellier University and a Masters of Commercial Law of Bristol University (UK). Bastien was admitted to the Paris Bar Exam in 2009.

Adil Al Zarooni
Adil Ismail Al Zarooni facilitates relations with public authorities, sponsorship, corporate services and the qualification of regional strategic partnerships in the Middle East for the benefit of entrepreneurs and multinational clients of Dumon Partners. Adil is based in the Dubai office.
Adil has 20 years of experience in executive management, investments, sales, logistics, healthcare, IT security and special economic zones development within UAE government entities and family owned businesses.
Adil founded Al Zarooni Emirates Investments LLC (ZEI) in 2009, which is the UAE holding company managing the Al Zarooni family assets that spans over private equity, public equity, investment funds and real estate. Mr. Al Zarooni holds directorship positions in firms in the sectors of healthcare, financial services, logistics, media, real estate and more.
Currently, he is also serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Al Bidayer Holding, LLC., a family holding company established to manage a strand of the Al Qasimi family wealth and investments and serves as a Chairman and/or Board Member of companies such as Continental Food Establishment Inc. (Dunkin Donuts), and Wonderbee Ice Cream,
His prior engagements and role include being the Senior Vice President for Sales at Economic Zones World (EZW) and JAFZA. He also assisted in the setup of Mobily in Saudi Arabia and worked for Etisalat.
While structuring his family business, Mr. Al Zarooni grew an academic interest in the subject of institutionalizing family businesses in the UAE and the region. He is often a speaker in the subject and a reference point. He took on his shoulder a social goal to help families sustain their businesses as he does to his own.
He holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from Etisalat College of Engineering, and an MBA from the American University of Sharjah. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in the subject of family businesses.
Adil Al Zarooni
Edouard has developed a keen expertise in corporate and commercial law by assisting entrepreneurs and multinationals for almost 10 years in the GCC and the Levant, with a particular focus on restructurings, mergers and acquisitions and joint-ventures. Trilingual and tri-cultural (fluent in French, Arabic and English), Edouard assists companies in their incorporation in the Middle East, and advises on commercial and strategic development by often acting as a liaison with the local authorities.
Edouard has become a multi-sector expert, operating particularly in the fields of financial services, healthcare, industries, maritime, and energy on strategic issues, commercial partnership and mergers and acquisitions operations.
Having worked in several jurisdictions, including the United Arab Emirates, France, Oman and Lebanon, Edouard intervened in a large number of complex cross-border transactions, helped foreign investors to navigate in each of these jurisdictions, by handling complex transactions in a straightforward, practical and efficient manner.
Edouard is a graduate of Saint Joseph University (Lebanon), the University of Lyon (France) and Harvard Business School (USA) and is a lawyer at the Beirut Bar Association.
Edward is fluent in English, French and Arabic.
Hervé is a graduate of the Ecole Nationale des Impôts (1983), holder of a Masters in Banking and Finance from the University of Paris I Pantheon-Sorbonne (1982) and a Masters in Economic Sciences, Public Economic Option and Economic Policy, from the University of Paris I Pantheon-Sorbonne (1981).
Hervé Israël started his career as an auditor at the DVNI (Department of National and International Verification). In 1988, he joined Pechiney and then took responsibility for group tax management for Europe, Asia and South America at Schlumberger Industries. In 1995, he joined the Caisse Nationale du Crédit Agricole, then became international tax manager at BNP-Paribas. Hervé has been admitted to the Paris Bar since 1996 and worked at Salans law firm, before becoming partner in charge of the tax practice of Lovells (now Hogan Lovells) then of Holman Fenwick Willan. In 2014, Hervé joined the Paris office of DLA Piper and then the law office of Bornhauser in 2017 to create and develop the Tax practice for companies and CEOs-Investors. At the same time, he was a lecturer and associate professor in tax law at the University of Paris X Nanterre from 2010 to 2019.
Hervé Israël has been involved for nearly 25 years in the tax structuring of French and international transactions, in particular in the structuring and financing of Merger and Acquisition and LBO transactions, asset financing, securitization and acquisition structuring.
Hervé also advises investment funds, companies and managers, in many sectors such as finance, insurance, aeronautics, real estate, maritime transport and energy.
Finally, Hervé assists companies and managers/investors in the context of tax audits and litigation procedures.
Hervé is recognized in tax law by Chambers Partners Europe and The Legal 500 for his “spot-on advice”.
Joseph is a Swiss lawyer, specialized in International tax and corporate law, registered with the Lausanne Bar Association.
Before to join Dumon Partners, as a Partner, Joseph advised multinationals and entrepreneurs at PwC, legal and tax advice, from 1994 to 2000, on mergers and acquisitions, tax planning and strategy.
Joseph was also Transfer Pricing Manager at Tetra Pak International SA, Group operations head office, from 2000 to 2003. He Implemented a worldwide global tax strategy for the Group with tax optimization allowing group to reinvest in R&amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;D more than 1.5 billion CHF over a 10 years period. Joseph had an exposure to tax authorities worldwide.
Joseph was a founding member of FBT Attorneys, a top 1% law firms in Switzerland in terms of number of lawyers and run JCB, his boutique law firm, specialized in structuring UHNWI and entrepreneurs.
Joseph graduated from the Lausanne University and Harvard Law School. Joseph is Swiss Attorney, Member of the Canton de Vaud Bar and the International Fiscal Association.
Joseph is French, English, Italian, Arabic, fluent.
(Français) Vincent joined Dumon Partners in 2022.
He is involved in tax law, notably in corporate taxation as well as transactional and private equity taxation. Furthermore, he acquired extensive experience in real estate and crypto assets. He also assists private people, shareholders and directors in their personal and asset taxation affairs.
He assists his clients as a tax advisor, and also in the context of tax controversies before the tax authorities and/or tax courts.
Before joining Dumon Partners, Vincent practiced with several international law firms, like Simmons&Simmons. He was a founding partner of Sumerson in 2018.
Vincent holds a Master’s degree in business law and taxation from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne & HEC and a Master’s degree in labor law from the University Paris X Nanterre.
Vincent has been a lawyer since 2012.
Vincent works both in French and English.
Georges Salwan, whose legal experience spans over 40 years, is one of the main practitioners in litigation and arbitration in Lebanon.
He represents a large portfolio of clients, including public authorities, companies and institutions before all levels of Lebanese jurisdiction. Georges also acted as historical advisor for various companies in Europe and in the GCC in all aspects of corporate and commercial law including public and private acquisitions and divestitures, venture capital transactions, joint ventures and shareholders’ agreements.
Georges is a graduate of the University of Lyon and the ESSEC Business School.
Georges is fluent in English, French and Arabic.

Claudia d’Alberti della Briga
Lawyer registered with the Paris Bar from 2001 to 2006 then legal advisor registered in the United Arab Emirates, Claudia is an associate based in the UAE offices of Dumon Partners.
Before joining Dumon Partners, Claudia worked for five years in the IT / IP team at Baker &amp;amp; McKenzie in Paris where she shaped her experience in commercial law and intellectual property.
Claudia then managed an investment holding company for almost ten years before taking up the legal profession, adding a practical dimension to her understanding of the legal needs of companies.
Drawing on these very different experiences, Claudia advises both French and foreign groups from different sectors, including luxury, as well as start-ups and investment funds.
She intervenes on all issues relating to the operation and commercial development of companies: partnerships, franchising, Licensing, trademark law, distribution contracts, agency contracts etc.
Claudia holds a double master's degree in law from University of Paris X – Nanterre and The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tuft University in Boston, an MBA from HEC Paris and a masters in commercial law from the University of Paris X – Nanterre.

Claudia d’Alberti della Briga
Richa is a common law qualified barrister and solicitor, specialized in mergers acquisitions, derivatives, capital markets, information communications technology, corporate/commercial law and litigation.
Prior to joining Dumon Partners, Richa worked in both the public and private sector, and was involved in multiple cross-border transactions such as mergers acquisitions, restructuring, and joint venture deals spanning across Africa, Asia, and Europe
Richa holds an MSc in Business, Law Management, an LLB from Durham University, and is registered with the Supreme Court of Kenya
Romain works in corporate matters (including mergers and acquisitions), as well as surrounding topics such as assets management, acquisition financing with or without leverage, or capital markets.
Throughout his university studies, Romain worked for major banks as an in-house lawyer on bank financing issues. During his traineeship period, he worked for a magic circle law firm in Paris.
Romain holds a Master’s degree in business law from Paris Nanterre University (2017), a Master’s degree in financial law from Paris Dauphine University (2018), and an International Financial Law LLM from King’s College London (2019).
Romain works both in French and in English.
