The Dubai and Abu Dhabi offices are led by Bertrand Dumon, avocat.
The offices operate equally for European small and medium companies (5 to 500 million euros), entrepreneurs and for multinationals wishing to set up or expand in the Middle East as Dubai or Abu Dhabi are most often used as a logistic, commercial, or financial hub, for structuring business development in Asia and/or Africa.
The offices advise clients on the structuring aspect of their envisaged project, by assisting them in choosing the appropriate corporate structure being within the established Free Zonesallowing them to retain 100% control of their capital, but also with local partners (,sponsors) for all distribution, industrial or financial activities across the UAE and the Middle East. The Offices assist and advise their client in the daily operation of their business and are equally active in the United Arab Emirates and internationally, benefiting from Dubai and Abu Dhabi as a regional base.
The main resident partners are Bertrand Dumon, Edouard Salwan and Ludovic Delpon de Vaux. They are fluent in five languages (French, Italian, English, German and Arabic) and are used to spearheading and negotiating simple or complex transactions in a difficult environment,often participating in their customers’ strategic decisions within the course of Mergers and Acquisition, equity financing round, tax structuring in the UAE, the GCC or Africa.

Dumon Partners is also very active with companies who need a practical understanding of the wholesale or retail distribution of their products in the Middle East. As registered legal practitioners at the Dubai International Financial Center Courts (Part 1) (Part 2), we also have a strong expertise in representing our client before DIFC Courts in their commercial and civil litigation.
We are frequently instructed in complex commercial disputes, advising a wide range of clients, from directors, shareholders and companies to appear before the DIFC Courts where our lawyers are granted full rights of audience to plead the case and attend multi-day hearings and trials, conduct proceedings and submit applications for injunctive relief, pre-action disclosure and jurisdictional challenges.
Our DIFC litigation team is able to assist clients from advising and strategizing at the outset of a dispute arising between the parties, throughout each and every stages of the litigation proceedings, up to the enforcement of the judgment rendered by the DIFC Courts.
