Bertrand Dumon has founded Dumon Partners in 2012.

After having affiliated Dumon Partners in 2015 with one of the prominent Arabic law firms in the Middle East, Dumon Partner has regained its independence in 2020 and renders legal and corporate services out of Switzerland, France, Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates.

Prior to start Dumon Partners, Bertrand was international partner and head of Corporate Group of Watson, Farley and Williams LLP Paris office

Bertrand has been involved in numerous cross-border transactions such as acquisitions, joint-ventures, setting up of subsidiaries, financing and restructuring, where he advised international companies and investors.

Bertrand has also developed recognized and prominent expertise in private equity transactions (LBOs, MBO, venture capital) and, more generally, corporate finance and financial engineering.

His experience also includes securities and stock market regulations (assisting companies on various securities issues, Public offering and IPOs), and litigation in France. Bertrand advises companies and investment funds in particular in the renewable sector, energy, commodities trading, Food and Beverage as well as in the new media, information technology sectors.

Bertrand actively practices in the Middle East, Africa, China, USA, Europe and Canada.

Prior to join Watson, Farley and Williams in January 2006, Bertrand was the Paris private equity team co-head with the NY firm Le Boeuf, Lamb, Greene and MacRae LLP.

Bertrand has a PhD in Contract Law from the University of Paris – Nanterre. He is member of the Paris Bar Association since 1998.
