Edouard has developed a keen expertise in corporate and commercial law by assisting entrepreneurs and multinationals for almost 15 years in the GCC and the Levant, with a particular focus on restructurings, mergers and acquisitions and joint-ventures.

 

Trilingual and tri-cultural (fluent in French, Arabic and English), Edouard assists companies in their incorporation in the Middle East and advises on their commercial and strategic development by often acting as a liaison with the local authorities.

 

Edouard has become a multi-sector expert, operating particularly in the fields of financial services, healthcare, industries, maritime, and energy on strategic issues, commercial partnership and mergers and acquisitions operations.

 

Having practiced in several jurisdictions, including the United Arab Emirates, France, Oman and Lebanon, Edouard intervened in a large number of complex cross-border transactions, helped foreign investors to navigate in each of these jurisdictions, by handling complex transactions in a straightforward, practical and efficient manner.

 

Edouard’s practice also involves representing clients on a broad range of dispute resolution matters, including complex commercial litigation, investigations, international commercial disputes before the Dubai International Financial Center Courts (DIFC Courts).

 

He holds an LLB from Saint Joseph University, an M.A in Corporate Law from the University of Lyon and an Executive Degree in Global Business from Harvard Business School.

 

Edouard is admitted to the Beirut Bar Association (Avocat à la Cour) and is a registered legal practitioner (Part I and II) with full rights of audience to plead and appear before the DIFC Courts.

 

Edouard is fluent in English, French and Arabic.
